Since 1977, Salzman Real Estate Services, LTD has offered specialized relocation services to corporations and to individuals. In fact, in 2009, 60% of the sales handled by Salzman Real Estate Services, LTD involved relocation services.  

How do “relocation services” differ from typical real estate sales?

In every community, there are a multitude of Realtors available to list, show and sell homes. But individuals and families who are moving in or out of a community often have special problems and needs which are not addressed by such basic services. Some of these problems are: Finding trailing spouse employment, selling out-of-area homes, arranging for temporary housing and storage of household goods, arranging for a reliable moving company, arranging for temporary care of pets in transit, finding the new home and arranging for a proper mortgage, negotiating the sale and closing, etc. In addition, incoming families need information about local school districts, hospitals, orientation about community services, service providers, etc.

Finally, because incoming families are usually not familiar with our local real estate market, they must rely even more upon us to provide accurate information about the local real estate market, neighborhoods, current prices and trends, lenders, appraisers, etc.
